Meeting with the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office’s Special Representative for Dialogue Promotion and Confidence-Building

On 18 June 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Idbek Kalandar held a meeting with Dr. Serge Rumin, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office (Switzerland) for Dialogue Promotion and Confidence-Building.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current regional security issues. Particular attention was paid to border security, environmental protection, and cooperation in the field of water resources as important factors for strengthening regional stability and sustainable development.

The parties underscored their mutual interest in further enhancing cooperation and expressed their readiness to expand practical collaboration in areas of common interest.
