The Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Pakistan held a phone conversation
On February 28, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a phone conversation with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Senator of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
During the conversation, the sides reviewed the situation between Pakistan and Afghanistan and stressed the importance of restraint and avoiding further tensions.
They underscored the value of sustained dialogue and confidence-building measures in order to reduce unease and enhance mutual trust.
