City of Garden Grove Facilities and Services Schedule During Holiday Closure

In observance of the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays from Thursday, December 25, 2025, to Thursday, January 1, 2026, the City of Garden Grove facilities and services listed below will adhere to the following schedules.

Garden Grove City Hall

Garden Grove City Hall will be closed from Thursday, December 25, 2025, through Thursday, January 1, 2026.

Resource Centers

The Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, H. Louis Lake Senior Center and Magnolia Park Family Resource Center will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, through Thursday, January 1, 2026.

Recreational Facilities

The Garden Grove Sports & Recreation Center and Atlantis Play Center will be closed on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, Thursday, December 25, 2025, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026. Both facilities will remain open on all other days. For more information, visit ggparksandrec.com.

Street Sweeping

Street sweeping services will not be provided on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026. Streets will be swept as scheduled on all other days. Trash Services

Trash pickup will not be provided on Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026. If your trash pickup is scheduled for Thursday or Friday, the service will be delayed by one day.

Republic Services will provide free pick up of holiday trees for three weeks, beginning Friday, December 26, 2025, through Friday, January 16, 2026. Trees must be out by 7:00 a.m. on regular trash collection days. Artificial and flocked trees are not recyclable and are not eligible for the free collection but may be disposed of in the regular trash container or by scheduling a bulky item pick up.

Garden Grove Animal Care Services

Garden Grove Animal Care Services will continue to operate on a normal daily basis except for Thursday, December 25, 2025, and Thursday, January 1, 2026, when only emergency services will be available by calling the Garden Grove Police Department Dispatch at (714) 741-5704.

Water Services

During the holiday closure, water bills will not be due, and services will not be cut off. Water bill payments can be made online at ggcity.org/water, by phone at (888) 867-2992, or dropped off in the payment box outside Garden Grove City Hall, 11222 Acacia Parkway (cash will not be accepted).

Parking Citations

Parking citations due during the holiday closure may be paid online by visiting pticket.com/gardengrove or by mailing a check or money order to P.O. Box 409 Tustin, CA 92781. For more information, call the Parking Enforcement and Street Sweeping mainline at (714) 741-5382.

Garden Grove City Council
