On April 6, 2026, the City of Miami will open the Firefighter/EMT recruitment. Recruitment closes on Friday, April 10, 2026, or when we reach 1,500 applications, whichever comes first.
Applicants must possess a valid State of Florida EMT or Paramedic certification, and a valid Florida Driver License with a Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, or Monroe County address at the time of the application.
Anyone wishing to apply MUST have a valid email address to create their user profile.
