Helicopter Landing Set for UW Fraternity Mall Wednesday
If you see helicopters landing and taking off on the University of Wyoming's Fraternity Mall this week, don't be alarmed.
UW's Army ROTC program is hosting a helicopter landing Wednesday, April 8, from about 3-6 p.m. on Fraternity Mall. LifeFlight and Classical Air Medical helicopters will be involved.
This exercise is part of ROTC's educational curriculum and also will help validate emergency landing zones for public safety on UW's campus.
No major impacts are expected, although there may be some increased noise in the area. People are welcome to observe from a safe distance.
