Annual Campus Safety Night walk, Oct. 28
The annual Campus Safety Night walk will be held on Oct. 28. UAA Environmental Health and Safety and Risk Management invites all UAA students and employees to participate.
Help make our campus a safer place by joining this annual tradition of walking from one end of campus to the other after dark to identify safety concerns such as lighting, walkways and emergency phone access.We'll start the evening with coffee and hot chocolate and a short briefing before splitting into teams to assess safety concerns around our Anchorage campus. Team leaders will document the findings for follow-up improvements. Flashlights, high-visibility vests, and handwarmers will be provided. Students, faculty, and staff are all welcome and encouraged to participate!
