Netflix Unveils Teaser for ‘Secrets', Ravi Bharwani’s First Film in Eight Years, Premiering December 3

Netflix has released the teaser trailer for its upcoming Indonesian film Secrets , marking director Ravi Bharwani 's return to filmmaking for the first time since his acclaimed 2018 drama 27 Steps of May . The psychological thriller premieres globally on December 3 and brings together two of Indonesia's most decorated actors, Sha Ine Febriyanti and Abimana Aryasatya , sharing the screen for the first time.

Secrets follows Parni (Sha Ine Febriyanti), a single mother who escaped her abusive husband 16 years ago - and has spent the years since rebuilding a quiet life with her daughter. All that unravels when her husband, Jamal (Abimana Aryasatya), returns, bent on revenge and threatening to expose her past. The teaser trailer offers a first glimpse of that past resurfacing, as old secrets collide with the life Parni fought to build.

Rooted in the social realities of Indonesia, the film follows a woman's struggle for survival. Having once defied social norms to break free from abuse, she must now confront the consequences of her choices.

Secrets explores domestic violence, the world of prostitution and the universal bond between mother and child, all wrapped in mystery. Also starring Shenina Cinnamon and Ruth Marini , Secrets premieres globally on December 3, only on Netflix.
