ZooAmerica and Ocean Connections Offer Water Friends Tour This Fall

Experiences with River Otters at the Zoo and Seals or Sea Lions in Hersheypark

ZooAmericaNorth American Wildlife Park is bringing back its Water Friends Tour in partnership with Ocean Connectionsthis fall. The interactive program features two up-close and personal experiences with the river otters at ZooAmerica and the seals or sea lions at the Aquatheatre inside Hersheyparkamusement park.

The Water Friends Tour is offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 10-11 a.m. through Dec. 29.

The program begins at ZooAmerica, where participants will enjoy an educational session and feeding opportunity with the river otters.

Participants will then walk across the bridge into Hersheypark for abehind-the-scenes tour of the seal and sea lion habitat and a training session in the Aquatheatre. Plus, guests get to take a picture with their flippered friends!

After the program, participants will return to ZooAmerica and can enjoy the Zooat their leisure as part of the experience. Please note that the Water Friends Tour does not include admission to Hersheypark Halloween. Hersheypark Halloween is open from 12-10 p.m. on Saturdays and 12-9 p.m. on Sundays through Nov. 3. Separate tickets can be purchased here.

The Water Friends Tour costs $175 per person. Tickets are required for every adult and child actively participating in the program (except for hand-held infants). The program is recommended for guests ages three and older. Participants 17 and under must be accompanied by a responsible paying adult.

Guests must pre-purchase the Water Friends Tour tickets 72 hours in advance. Payment by credit card is required at the time of registration.
