MONDAY, February 23
9:00 a.m. - Executive Session
Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statute § 24-6-402 (4), upon the affirmative vote
of two-thirds of the quorum present, the La Plata County Board of County Commissioners will hold an executive session to discuss the following matters:
Personnel matters pursuant to Colo. Rev. Stat. § 24-6-402(4)(f). Purpose: Establishment of performance goals for new County Manager.
10:30 a.m. - Annual Tour of La Plata County Jail
As required by Colorado Revised Statutes, the Board will take their annual tour of the La Plata County Jail at 742 Turner Drive.

The Commissioners will meet with Gay Kiene, a board member with Friends of Durango Seniors, to discuss supporting and enhancing services for older adults in La Plata County. The meeting will be held at the La Plata County Senior Center, located at 2424 Main Avenue in Durango.

8:30 a.m. - Board Discussion Time
The Commissioners will meet with staff in the Board Room to discuss various issues.

CCAT will host a virtual meeting to discuss CCAT's position on HB-1001 HOME Act.

The Board will attend the virtual presentation to hear the latest updates on beetle activity, current impacts and ongoing mitigation and recovery efforts.

The Board will attend the virtual Natural Resources/Wildfire and General Government/Governance Committee Policy Meetings.
4:00 p.m. - Elizabeth Philbrick to host Commissioner Chat at the Pine River Library
Commissioner Elizabeth Philbrick will host Commissioner Chat from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Pine River Library, located at 395 Bayfield Center Drive. Residents are encouraged to stop by for an informal chat about county issues or concerns.
FRIDAY, February 27
12:00 p.m. - Colorado Counties, Inc. (CCI) Steering Committee Meeting
The Board will attend the virtual CCI Steering Committee Legislative Briefing.
3:00 p.m. - Commissioner Marsha Porter-Norton call-in Office Hours
Commissioner Marsha Porter-Norton will host call-in Office Hours from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. County residents are encouraged to call 970-382-6215 during these hours to discuss county issues and concerns.
