New dashboard highlights homelessness system activity and investments

Published on October 06, 2026

The City of Fort Worth has launched a new Homeless Strategies Dashboard, a public-facing tool that gives residents, service providers and policymakers a clearer view of homelessness trends, City-funded program performance and system activity.

The dashboard is housed on the City's Open Data Portal alongside a growing collection of public dashboards designed to improve transparency and access to information. The Homeless Strategies Dashboard consolidates multiple data sources into an easy-to-navigate format organized into three tabs:

  1. Homeless System. Shows demographic information across the Tarrant and Parker County Continuum of Care, as well as year-over-year homeless population trends in Fort Worth.
  2. City-Directed Funding for Programs & Projects. Provides an overview of City investments in homelessness programs and housing initiatives, including performance metrics for key outcomes.
  3. Camp Cleanup (Abatement). Tracks complaint response and cleanup activity, including an interactive map that visualizes cleanup locations across the city.

In addition, Partnership Home, the lead agency for the Tarrant and Parker County Continuum of Care, recently launched a Monthly System Dashboard offering further details on outreach, shelter utilization, housing occupancy and systemwide move-ins. Together, these tools provide residents with a more comprehensive picture of regional homelessness response.
