Exciting Improvements Coming to Fish Creek Linear Park

There's a lot to look forward to at Fish Creek Linear Park. Known for its scenic 2.8-mile trail, outdoor recreation, playgrounds, bridges and neighborhood access points, the 133-acre park is getting upgrades that will create more opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy the outdoors.

New Playgrounds Coming Soon
Three playgrounds are scheduled for reconstruction:

• Coventry Drive Playground - Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2026, with completion expected in January 2027.

• Allegro Lane Playground - Construction is scheduled to begin in November 2026, with completion expected in January 2027.

• Creekside Drive Playground - Construction is scheduled to begin in December 2026, with completion expected in March 2027.

Brighter Trails Ahead
Beginning in January 2027, new lighting will be installed along the trail, moving from east to west. The lighting project is expected to be fully completed by late June 2027.

For everyone's safety during construction, portions of the trail will close in phases as lighting is installed. Temporary closures will help crews complete the work efficiently while moving the project forward.
