Bryan Martin Confronts His Inner Demons And The Cost Of Chasing A Dream On Raw New Album Od’in On A Dream, Out Today

Known for his "rock-seared, ramblin'-man sense of defiance and honesty" (Billboard) and "bold, gritty and unapologetically authentic style" (MusicRow), PLATINUM-selling country artist Bryan Martin bares it all on his most deeply personal album yet, OD'in On A Dream, available everywhere today (10.30) via Average Joes Entertainment.

Written during one of the darkest chapters of his life, the album finds Martin going toe-to-toe with his inner demons as he confronts addiction, shame, the sacrifices of life on the road and the cycles of generational pain he's determined to break. It serves as Martin's final salute to his old self as he closes that chapter for good.

Produced by Nick Gibbens (Thomas Rhett, Montgomery Gentry), the album features Martin as a co-writer on 11 of its 13 tracks, alongside celebrated songwriters including Lydia Vaughan, Will Bundy, Ben Roberts, Jeremy Bussey and more. The album also features a who's who of musicians, including drummer Fred Eltringham (Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert) and bassist Steve Mackey (Luke Combs, Bailey Zimmerman), among others.

On the searing country-rockers "I Ain't Changed," "Old Dog New Tricks" and "Rather Be The Fire," Martin offers a defiant declaration of staying true to his rebellious ways, while the tender "Real Man" showcases a more vulnerable side as he sings of the quiet strength and sacrifices made for those we love. The push-and-pull between his vices and his faith takes center stage on "Tug O' War," while "Complex" retraces the origins of his self-destructive patterns and the stripped-back "Take It From Me" serves as a cautionary tale about the consequences of giving in to temptation. On "Last Train To Heaven," Martin wears shame on his sleeve and lays bare his feelings of being unworthy of grace, while "Demons Don't Sleep" reflects on the inescapable nature of our internal struggles. Heartbreak and regret run deep on "If Loving Me Was Easy" and "Home Sweet Living Hell," as Martin reckons with the pain he's caused those closest to him, while questioning the ease with which his wedding vows were undone on the heartbroken "For The Better." Bringing the album's central theme full circle, the funk-rock-infused title track confronts the personal toll of relentlessly chasing a dream.

Martin will take the stage at Texas Club in Baton Rouge, LA on November 6, before joining Gavin Adcock and Trey Pendley for the sold-out Wolf's Naughty Christmas Show at Ponderosa Lounge and Grill in Portland, OR on December 4. He'll then head to Steel Creek American Whiskey Co. in Tacoma, WA on December 5. For a full list of upcoming dates, visit bryanmartinofficial.com.
