Oaths of office to be administered Tuesday

Several La Plata County elected officials will be sworn in to office at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14 prior to the Board of County Commissioners' regular Business Agenda meeting, which begins at 10 a.m. in the Board Room of the County Administration Building at 1101 E. 2^nd Ave. in Durango.

Sixth Judicial District Chief Judge Jeff Wilson will administer the oath of office to District Attorney Sean Murray as well as La Plata County Commissioners Marsha Porter-Norton and Matt Salka. County Clerk & Recorder Tiffany Lee administered the oath of office to Treasurer and Public Trustee Moni Grushkin in December to meet a statutory Jan. 1 deadline.
