The Pasadena Department of Transportation will resume parking enforcement in the City's business districts starting Tuesday, January 21, 2025. This will include enforcement of parking meters, time limits in commercial areas, loading zones and surface lot paid parking in City lots in Playhouse Village and South Lake. These efforts ensure parking is available and facilitates business owners resuming normal operations.
City staff is also developing a timeline for the resumption of enforcement in residential areas. Overnight parking restrictions in residential areas and preferential parking restrictions areas will not be enforced until the end of January at the earliest. Parking Enforcement personnel will continue to enforce all safety related violations citywide including red flag violations (when a red flag event is called), parking near fire hydrants, red zone/no parking zones and blocking driveways. Residents and visitors are encouraged to visit the City of Pasadena Parking website at https://www.cityofpasadena.net/transportation/parking-info/ for the most current information on parking enforcement.
