Bronx, NY - NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health today announced $4.8 million in Fiscal Year 2027 City Council capital funding, sponsored by New York City Council Speaker Julie Menin and Council Member Kevin C. Riley, to support major improvements at Gotham Health, Gun Hill. The investment will enhance clinical spaces, improve the patient experience, and strengthen women's and pediatric health services for patients and families in the Bronx.

The funding includes $3.5 million for the renovation of Women's Health Services and Pediatrics, converting underutilized space into a new women's health and pediatric suite with fully accessible exam and support rooms.

An additional $1.2 million will support the renovation of the reception and patient waiting area, creating a more welcoming and functional environment for patients and families. The remaining $100,000 will fund a new colposcope, providing diagnostic and treatment capabilities to support women's health services.
