Commit to a Greener Community: Status of the City's 80x30 Goal

In this Climate Action blog we share ways our residents and businesses can make an impact on Palo Alto's ambitious community goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions 80% by 2030. We've come a long way, thanks to community actions so far, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 47% when compared to 1990 levels.

April is a perfect time for residents to consider changes at home to build a greener community. With Earth Day on April 27, this Earth Month, we are sharing ways to enhance community health and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the context of the City's 80x30 goal.
