Chinese Consul General in Perth Fu Lihua Attends the Cultures of China, Festival of Spring Performance

On February 27, 2026, Consul General Fu Lihua attended the "Cultures of China, Festival of Spring"performance. Mr. Guo Qihua, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Cultural Exchange of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Hon. Pierre Yang MLC, Representing Premier Cook and Dr. Tony Buti, Minister for Multicultural Interests, Mr. Basil Zempilas MLA, Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Ding Shaoping, Chairman of Perth Huaxing Arts Group, as well as approximately 2,500 overseas Chinese and members of various sectors in Western Australia enjoyed the wonderful performance together.

Consul-General Fu Lihua delivered remarks, expressing gratitude to the "Cultures of China, Festival of Spring" performance troupe for conveying the care and warmth from the motherland, and encouraging overseas Chinese to continue contributing to the development of China-Western Australia relations. Mr. Guo stated that the performance conveyed the motherland's care and concern for Chinese people overseas, and told the stories of Chinese people in the new era who are open, inclusive, and striving to pursue their dreams.

Performers from the Railway Art Troupe and other art organizations presented a spectacular and captivating gala. Members from Chinese community in WA highly praised the high-level performance for conveying sincere emotions and making them deeply feel the care and blessings from their motherland.
