Traffic Advisory: Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade December 13

The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade will take place on Saturday, December 13.

Road Closures

The following traffic advisory will be in effect:

• From 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., SE 4th Street will be closed between SE 6th Avenue to SE 8th Avenue.
• From 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Las Olas Circle surrounding the Las Olas Promenade Park will be closed for local access only.

Bridge Schedules

Waterway Closings and Bridge Closures to Street Traffic

• 2:30 PM New River closure to non-parade vessels from the fork near Little Florida, west of Cooley's Landing and east to Marker 9.
• 4:50 PM Intracoastal Waterway closure from Port Everglades to Oakland Park Bridge South
• 5:50 PM Intracoastal Waterway closure from North of Oakland Park Bridge to Lake Santa Barbara

Bridge Closing Times for Vehicle Traffic

*Winterfest, Inc. received their United States Coast Guard Permit for waterway closing notes the opening of the FEC Train Bridge at 6:30 PM to Parade traffic. Brightline and FEC are working with Winterfest to secure an earlier schedule for staging.

Regular Bridge Schedules Before and After Parade

New River Bridges

• 7th Avenue, Andrews Avenue, and Third Avenue bridges - New River are on demand for waterway traffic before and after Parade.

Intracoastal Bridges

• Commercial Blvd., the draw shall open to waterway traffic on the hour, 20 min and 40 min thereafter.
• Oakland Park Blvd., the draw shall open on the quarter-hour and three-quarter hour to waterway traffic.
• Sunrise Blvd./S.R. 838, the draw shall open on the hour and half-hour to waterway traffic.
• Las Olas Blvd., the draw shall open on the quarter-hour and three-quarter hour to waterway traffic.
• SE 17th St. Causeway bridge, the draw shall open on the hour and half-hour to waterway traffic.
