Racing on the Edge: Los Gallos and NorthStar’s team cultures under spotlight in latest episode

NorthStar and Los Gallos' contrasting approaches to team culture is under the spotlight in the latest episode of SailGP's can't-miss docuseries Racing on the Edge.

The fifth episode of the season 'Empathy' joins the Rolex SailGP Championship during the Halifax and Portsmouth events, as teams go all-out to net crucial mid-season points.

Both the Spanish and Canadian teams arrive in Halifax under pressure - with Diego Botin's team desperate to convert Final appearances into event wins and Giles Scott's squad fighting to turn their so-far lackluster season around.

While the Spanish work with a sports psychologist to rally together in moments of pressure, the Canadians are beset by communication problems and boat handling errors.

The result? Spain take the win in Halifax and finally capture some winning momentum, while NorthStar fail to qualify for their home Final and are force to regroup for Portsmouth. And both teams are on compelling form when the British event begins and qualify for the Final. Strategic disagreements and communication problems continue on board the Canadian F50, and it's the Spanish once again who stay composed to take the second win on the bounce.
