Neighborhood Pavement Markings Improvements

The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with Horsepower Electrical, Inc. to improve traffic safety through pavement markings improvements. Work will include roadway striping and pavement markings in select areas, including:

  • Melrose Park Installation of stop bars, double yellow lines and skip lines throughout the neighborhood.
  • Bermuda Riviera Installation of pavement markings on NE 34th Avenue from NE 37th Street to NE 40th Street.
  • River Run Installation of pavement markings on SW 16th Street from SW 27th Terrace to Riverland Road.
  • Croissant Park Installation of pavement markings on SW 18th Court from SW 4th Avenue to SW 9th Avenue.

Construction Schedule:

Work is scheduled to begin the second week of June 2026 and will take place Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. This schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

Traffic impacts:

  • Traffic impacts in the neighborhoods are expected to be minimal.
  • Please follow posted signs and drive with caution.
