Regulatory Commission of Alaska: Notice of Utility Tariff Filings (Securus)
Notice of Utility Tariff Filings
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Securus Technologies, LLC (Securus), the inmate calling service (ICS) provider for correctional facilities within the state of Alaska, has filed TA9-758 and TA30-461 for local and intrastate interexchange services, respectively, in compliance with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) order FCC 24-75 released on July 22, 2024. Securus proposes an increase to the per-minute rate for local exchange ICS and intrastate interexchange ICS from $0.06 per minute to $0.085 per minute, an increase to the federal cost recovery charge from 2.17% to 2.32%, and other miscellaneous housekeeping revisions.
This notice does not contain all requested revisions and the Commission may approve a rate or classification which varies from those proposed.
