Veteran Services to Have Reduced Staff July 14-18

Linn County Veteran Services will be operating with reduced staff July 14-18 so that all County Veteran Service Officers can attend the 2025 National Association of County Veterans Service Officers Annual Conference. Annual conference attendance is essential for the Linn County Veteran Services Department to maintain national accreditation. The conference will also provide staff with critical updates on recent changes to VA policies and procedures, introduce new and existing VA programs for veterans, and offer opportunities to provide direct feedback to VA decision-makers.

During this time, front desk staff will be available to schedule appointments for a later date and to answer general questions over the phone or for walk-ins.
