On 31 January 2026, the Malaysian Siamese Buddhist Monk Organization organised the 100th-day merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at Wat Visudthipradittharam, Pendang, Kedah, to express deepest condolences and commemorate Her Majesty's immeasurable royal grace. In this event, Phra Ratcha Mongkhonsilakhun, President of the Malaysian Siamese Buddhist Monk Organization presided over the ceremony for the monks and H.E. Mr. Psusist Wongsurawat, Consul-General of Thailand in Penang, presided for the seculars with the presence of officials, spouse, and Malaysian Siamese communities in Kedah.
