Murphy Statement on Injunction Halting Trump’s Baseless Shutdown of Revolution Wind

WASHINGTON-U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) released the following statement in response to a federal judge temporarily allowing Revolution Wind to keep building after multiple attempts by the Trump administration to halt the project:

"After shutting down wind farm construction because of a so-called threat to national security, the Trump administration denied my office a briefing to avoid exposing their ridiculous, empty claim. Now a federal court has weighed in and handed Trump another defeat. Revolution Wind will be able to continue work on a project that is nearly 90% complete and will deliver relief to Connecticut families struggling with sky-high energy prices. We've always known Trump's attacks on Revolution Wind are baseless, and I'm glad to see the courts agree."
