The City of Santa Fe Community Gallery presents [TabLe]: Artists Reimagine the Meaning of the Family Table, a group exhibition exploring the traditions, symbolism, and evolving meaning of the family table.
Featuring work by 23 artists, the exhibition reflects on how the table has been imagined as the center of domestic life and how lived experiences often differ from that ideal. Through installations, sculpture, ceramics, and mixed-media works, artists examine themes of family dynamics, labor, faith, and the shifting nature of domestic spaces.
Presented by the curatorial team of Rocío Rodríguez, Carol Schrader, and Kemely Gómez, the exhibition also invites visitors to share their reflections on the ritual of a meal and its significance.
This exhibition is funded by Art is the Solution, an annual grant program of the Arts Commission.
