Help Build a Better Buckeye: Take the 2026 Community Survey

Buckeye is excited to announce the relaunch of our community survey which will allow residents to provide direct input on the city's decision-making process regarding our policies and programs.

The survey includes questions about quality of life, important characteristics of our community, services provided by Buckeye and priorities for the future. Specifically, Buckeye wants to know what we can do to work towards a better quality of life, a safer community and address the challenges residents face in our fast-growing community.

Buckeye first conducted the National Community Survey in the summer of 2022 and again in the fall of 2023 to assess resident quality of life. By repeating the survey this year, the city can effectively track progress and pinpoint specific areas for improvement. To see how Buckeye has evolved, view our previous results at buckeyeaz.gov/NCS.

Responses are anonymous, and personal information is securely stored on Polco, an innovative, secure, online engagement platform. Polco is committed to a strict privacy policy - they only share anonymous, combined results; individual data and votes are never shared.

The first phase of the survey launches January 20, to random residents through the mail. A second phase will launch in mid-February to the whole community through online submissions. The survey will be available online in both English and Spanish.

The National Community SurveyTM is one of the first scientific surveys developed to gather resident opinion on a range of community issues and has been used in more than 350 jurisdictions across the country. Survey results improve service delivery, strengthen communication with community stakeholders and help city leaders identify clear priorities during strategic planning and budget processes.
