City of Alexandria Inclement Weather Service Update – January 29
Refuse collection will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 29. If it is safe to do so, please place bins out the morning to allow plows to work through night snow removal operations. Your refuse will be collected if it is safe for trucks to reach the bins.
Yard waste and compost will not be picked up.
If you regularly receive trash and recycling collection on Thursday and your refuse is not collected, you can submit a missed collection ticket onlineor by calling Alex311 and a crew will get to your waste in the coming days.
