CBA Hosts Opening Meeting of IMF Mission

On March 19, an opening meeting was held at the Central Bank of Armenia with the delegation of the International Monetary Fund mission to Armenia, led by Alexander Tieman.

During the meeting, participants covered recent macroeconomic developments, the outlook and risks, as well as policy issues, including monetary policy, FX interventions, and financial sector developments.

The parties also addressed key reforms under the program, including bank resolution and stablecoin regulation, alongside broader topics such as capital market development, risk management, and payment system upgrades.
