The Lakewood Cultural Center is set to make your spirits bright this holiday season with two spectacular performances. Whether you prefer the sparkle of Broadway and Hollywood classics or the cozy, authentic sound of Americana, the Lakewood Cultural Center has the perfect events to kickoff the holidays. Tickets are on sale now!
Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., ring in the holiday season with "The Broadway Hollywood Holiday Songbook." A cast of Broadway vocalists will delight audiences with a merry celebration of classic holiday hits from traditional and contemporary Broadway shows and Hollywood films. The setlist includes "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," "Silver Bells," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Believe," "We Need a Little Christmas," and "White Christmas." This dazzling concert is guaranteed to lift your spirits and warm your heart.
If rollicking Americana music is more your style, make plans for the Rocky Mountain Stocking Stuffers' performance of "Home for the Holidays" on Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. This intimate show features local music legends Jon Chandler (Dawson, The Wichitones), Mary Huckins (Dakota Blonde), Ernie Martinez (Trespasser, Runaway Express, The Wichitones) and a full lineup of renowned, Colorado-based acoustic musicians. With gorgeous vocals and thrilling instrumentals, the Stocking Stuffers beckon us home for the holidays with poignant carols and songs of good cheer.
