Safety is at the center of how we operate at CPChem and it's something our teams work at every day.
That focus is being recognized across the industry. Several CPChem facilities received 2025 safety awards from the American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers, highlighting strong performance in both occupational and process safety.
Our Borger and Pasadena facilities earned the Elite Gold Safety Award, placing them among the top 5% of petrochemical and refining sites nationwide. Bartlesville, Cedar Bayou, Conroe and Orange were recognized with the Elite Silver Safety Award, ranking in the top 10% of industry performers.
In addition, Bartlesville, Borger, Conroe, Orange, Pasadena and Port Arthur each received Safety Achievement Awards at the annual AFPM meeting.
These recognitions reflect the everyday actions of our employees and contractors, identifying risks, looking out for one another and doing the job the right way. That's what helps us prevent incidents and protect our people, our communities and the environment.
While recognition is meaningful, it's not the reason we focus on safety. Through Responsible Care and our Journey to Zero, we're committed to continuously improving how we operate and reducing risk across our sites.
Congratulations to the teams across our facilities for the commitment and discipline that makes this possible. To read more about the awards, click here.
