Rep. John McGuire applauds passage of the Stopping Indoctrination and Protecting Kids Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Following the passage of the Stopping Indoctrination and Protecting Kids Act, Representative John McGuire issued the below statement.

"Parents have every right to know what their children are being taught in school, and that should not include radical gender ideology," said Rep. John McGuire (VA-05). "Schools must focus on objective truth, teaching children how to think, not what to think rather than encouraging them to transition behind their parents' backs. I am proud to vote for legislation that keeps parents informed about their child's education and ensures taxpayer dollars do not fund divisive or misleading curriculum. These ever-changing gender gymnastics are wrong, dangerous, and only serve to confuse our children."
