KILLEEN, Texas (September 18, 2025) - The City of Killeen Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce the Fall Skate Bash on Friday, Oct. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rotary Club Children's Park (2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd.).
Skaters of all ages and skill levels are invited to bring their roller skates or skateboards and enjoy an evening with music, food trucks, and community. The event is designed to encourage families and friends to get active while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
"Skating is another fun way for the community to come together, share some laughs, and make memories," said Kaitlyn Roberts, Recreation Manager for Killeen Parks & Recreation. "After the success of our first Summer Skate Bash, we heard from so many residents who wanted more. Fall Skate Bash is our way of keeping that momentum going, encouraging physical activity, and creating a space for families to connect."
The Fall Skate Bash is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to wear protective gear for a safe and enjoyable experience. For more information, visit killeentexas.gov/rec or call the Killeen Parks & Recreation Department at (254) 501-6390.
