Raleigh Water Responds to Hydrant Break on Falls River Avenue

Raleigh Water crews are on site repairing a hydrant break near the intersection of Falls River Avenue and Callison Street, in the 1300 block of Falls River Avenue.

There is no current estimate for when repairs will be completed. Traffic in the area remains unaffected.

Water service was briefly interrupted for about four minutes during the initial leak investigation but has been fully restored to all customers in the area.

No system pressure or boil-water advisories have been issued. Should a pressure advisory be necessary, Raleigh Water will notify impacted customers directly via doorhangers or text messages.
