Weekly Recall: Pick Your Topics

Hey, everyone, and welcome to 2026! Here on the Comms team, we're reasonably refreshed after our winter break and ready to get back to Overwatching. We hope you had a joyful, restful holiday season full of abundant win streaks and questionable Hero picks in Quick Play.

In the 2025 Yearly Recall wrap-up, we noted that one of our goals is to make Weekly Recalls even more community-influenced in 2026: you get to make your voices heard and we get clear, concrete data regarding what the Overwatch community wants to learn more about.

Enter the democratic process used on the internet since time immemorial: polls!

We've listed a boatload of topic options below for you to put your vote behind. If you want to start a large-scale social media campaign to boost your topic of choice, don't let us stop you. There's also an option to drop your idea in the comments if you're convinced you have the next big Weekly Recall idea…within reason.

As you start brainstorming with your stack, there are a few disclaimers to keep in mind. If a topic isn't directly listed, there's either a reason why we can't tackle it (no spoilers!) or it'll be acknowledged in another space, like a livestream or a Developer Update. For topics that we can cover in a Weekly Recall, some may not pop up until Spring because our editorial calendar is booked for the start of the year (cue the eyes emojis).

Time to hit the polls. As always, thanks for reading, commenting, and being a part of the Overwatch community!
