The City of Tucson is seeking feedback from residents regarding the budget for fiscal year 2027. The City will host a series of in-person, deliberative forums called The Housing Equation. This series of serves as a bridge between government and the community, offering a transparent space for City leadership to connect, share, and collaborate with Tucson residents on the topic of housing, homelessness, and public safety.
The implementation of eight Housing Equation Forums for Tucson residents will take place in November 2025. Each event will be in-person and held in five different wards. Forums will include budget education, expert panels and roundtables, and opportunities for resident feedback.
Event Schedule & Details:
Ward 1: Monday, Nov. 10, 6-8 p.m. Fred Archer Center (Spanish translation), 1665 S. La Cholla Blvd.
Ward 2 and 4: Monday, Nov. 17, 6-8 p.m., location coming soon (ASL interpretation)
Ward 3: Friday, Nov. 19, 6-8 p.m. Donna Liggins Center (ASL interpretation), 2160 N. 6th Ave.
Ward 5: Wednesday, Nov. 12, 6-8 p.m., Second Sky Children's Center (Spanish translation), 4141 E. Irvington Road, Building A
Ward 6: Friday, Nov. 21, 10 a.m.-noon, Randolph Center (ASL interpretation), 200 S. Alvernon Way
For labor unions only: Wednesday, Nov. 12, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Donna Liggins Center, 2160 N. 6th Ave.
Event Registration:
Each event will be in person. In the registration form (links to right of page (desktop) and below (mobile), fill out the required information to confirm your spot. You may select any of the events, regardless of the ward you live in.
Event Capacity:
Each event has a limit of 60 participants. The first 60 registrations will be recorded, and event registration will be closed. Each event will be covering the same content, so please register for one event only to ensure that as many residents of Tucson can attend as possible.
Language Accommodation

At the City of Tucson, our primary goal is to hear from as many of our residents as possible on the topic of housing and public safety in relation to the City budget. As we understand that this topic can be sensitive and raise significant concerns for our constituents, so we hope to approach these events with compassion and respect for all those involved to allow for productive dialogue to steer us toward shared progress on the housing situation happening in Tucson.
