Snowshoe Shuffle, Potato Creek State Park

Join us in the Nature Center to learn about snowshoes and the sport. Then we will start a short walk outside around Peppermint Shelter. Snowshoes are available on a first come first-serve basis.

Our interpretive programs are designed to entertain and enrich folks of all ages. Children under 12 must have an adult with them at programs.

Registration is not required for this program.

All our programs are free (unless otherwise noted). They are open to the public after paying the park entrance fee. ($7 in-state & $15 out-of-state)

The Nature Center's Hours during November: Open Friday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. Closed Monday-Thursday.

*Note that during peak visitation times, entry into our park might be delayed. Parking lots around the Nature Center can fill quickly. The Nature Center is located approximately 10 minutes from our park's main entrance gate. Please plan accordingly. *
