The Berkeley College Foundation welcomed more than 80 golfers and sponsors to the Basking Ridge Country Club in Basking Ridge, NJ, on Monday, June 1, 2026, for the Foundation's 9th Annual Golf Outing. The event, which included brunch, cocktails, dinner, golf competitions, silent and live auctions, and a 50/50 raffle, assists the Foundation in its mission to provide scholarships and support for student success.
Mary Ann Chimento, Interim Executive Director, Berkeley College Foundation, thanked Golf Outing participants, volunteers, and sponsors for their time and donations, noting the impact each had on the success of the day and on the scholarship recipients.
"Scholarships awarded by the Berkeley College Foundation do more than ease financial burdens today - they create opportunities that empower students to achieve lifelong success," Chimento said. "The Foundation is honored to make such an impact in the lives of our students and our community."
The Berkeley College Foundation held its inaugural Scholarship Awards Dinner in 2017, and since that time has awarded nearly $340,000 in scholarships to 93 academically deserving, need-based students.
"Berkeley College Foundation events are where donor generosity and alumni loyalty come to life - connecting sponsors within our community, inspiring futures, and reminding us that our greatest investment is always in each other," said Melvin Montalvo, Member, Board of Directors and 2026 Golf Chair, Berkeley College Foundation.
"Your contributions do much more than provide financial assistance," said Andre Krzyzanowski, a Berkeley College Foundation scholarship recipient. "Your contributions open doors, create opportunities, and empower students to pursue their goals." Krzyzanowski graduated in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Communications and was named the 2026 Outstanding Student Award Recipient. The award is presented annually to a student who meets high standards of academic excellence while overcoming personal or professional obstacles.
