Rock the Block Hits New Brunswick This Saturday
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (August 28, 2026) - Get ready, New Brunswick, because the Police Department's massive "Rock the Block 2026" celebration is taking over Roosevelt Elementary School this weekend.
Head over to 83 Livingston Ave. Saturday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an incredible day packed with free back-to-school essentials and family fun.
The City is making sure our local students are fully equipped and ready to kick off the new school year in style. Kids can score free backpacks and school supplies, grab a fresh new haircut, enjoy delicious food, play games, get their faces painted, and even see the Batmobile.
