MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER LIFTED: Effective 5/25/26, the mandatory evacuation order has been lifted for all areas of the City of Buena Park. Residents in the Girl Tract are able to return to their homes. Evacuation and road closures remain around the Garden Grove incident site.

Evacuations are lifted for Cypress and Buena Park, in addition to parts of Garden Grove and Stanton. An evacuation area remains around the incident site, covering parts of Garden Grove and Stanton.

The remaining evacuation area starts at Orangewood Avenue to the north, Garden Grove Boulevard to the south and from Dale Street to the east and Knott Avenue to the west. We urge all residents to adhere to the ongoing evacuation areas for their safety.

The evacuation update comes amid improving conditions, with the risk of a worst-case explosion no longer a concern.
