Turkmenistan President visits Speaker Nukaga
On Friday, 19 December, H.E. Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, visited the House of Representatives with his delegation and met with Mr. NUKAGA Fukushiro, Speaker of the House.
Speaker Nukaga began by welcoming President Berdimuhamedov, in Japan to attend the Central Asia Plus Japan Dialogue Summit. Mr. Nukaga expressed hope that the President's visit to Japan would help further the two countries' friendship, as well as cooperation between Japan and Central Asian nations for peace and the development of the international community.
The President responded by expressing hope for promoting parliamentary exchange between the two countries and strengthening their bilateral cooperation in a wide range of fields, including politics, the economy and culture.
They also exchanged views on cooperation in energy, Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and Japanese language learning in Turkmenistan.
