On behalf of the United States of America, I offer my sincere congratulations to the people of Honduras on the 204th anniversary of your independence.
It is my hope that we may continue to work to promote democracy and the rule of law, advance prosperity, combat transnational crime, and end illegal immigration. On this momentous occasion, the United States celebrates our relationship with the Honduran people and reaffirms our commitment to a safer, stronger, and more prosperous region.
