Notice: LARP Event at Saxon Park on 10/10/26

A community group will be utilizing areas of Saxon Park, 2700 36th Ave SE, for a live-action role-playing (LARP) event on 10/10/26 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will feature fantasy-themed role-playing and simulated combat using fake weapons and other non-hazardous props. Participants may portray characters and scenes involving simulated injuries or combat.

The event will not involve open flames, bows or arrows, or other hazardous projectile weapons. Any simulated traps or combat activities will be non-functional and designed so that no one is harmed.

All temporary materials used for the event will be removed afterward. The event will not involve permanent installations, new paths, tree marking, or removal of vegetation.

Saxon Park will remain open to the public during the event. Visitors may encounter event participants and props while using the park and this notice is shared to help park goers stay aware of their surroundings.
