Traffic Advisory: South Avenue Closed on Curve near Golf Course

Dear Adelphi Community,
Please be advised that utility work is expected to be completed today, March 10, 2026, on the curve of South Avenue near the golf course. Today's work has resulted in a road closure for traffic heading toward the Adelphi University Garden City campus.
Until the work is safely completed, South Avenue is temporarily closed to traffic from Rockaway Avenue/Cherry Valley Avenue to the Golf Course. We encourage you to access or leave campus via Cambridge Avenue or South Avenue via Nassau Blvdat this time.
