Greeneville Driver Services Center Temporarily Relocating During Facility Renovations

The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security (TDOSHS) announces that the Greeneville Driver Services Center located at 1210 Hal Henard Rd., will temporarily close beginning June 29, 2026, to allow for facility renovations and improvements. An alternate location will be available beginning July 6, at the Greene County Annex Building.

During the remodel, Driver Services operations will be conducted from the Greene County Annex Building, located at 204 N. Cutler St. Greeneville.

Operating hours at the temporary location will differ from the center's normal schedule. The temporary office will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All Driver Services transactions currently offered at the Greeneville Driver Services Center will continue to be available during the relocation, with the exception of Knowledge Tests and Reinstatements. TDOSHS is committed to minimizing disruptions while improvements are made to the permanent facility.

TDOSHS appreciates the public's patience and understanding during the renovation process and looks forward to welcoming customers back to an updated and improved Greeneville Driver Services Center upon completion of the project.
