Wilson Statement on Elimination of Hamas Leader
Washington, DC- Congressman Joe Wilson issued the following statement regarding the elimination of Hamas leader and Iranian puppet Yahya Sinwar:
"Americans are grateful for the bravery of the Israeli Military in the elimination of deranged Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who orchestrated the barbaric massacre and kidnappings of October 7, 2023.
"Sinwar, a terrorist puppet of the Iranian regime, openly devoted his life to hatred, the elimination of Israel, and genocide of Jewish people. He had the blood of dozens of Americans on his hands.
"The Biden/Harris administration should follow the example of Israel and apply maximum pressure against the terrorist regime in Tehran. The people of Iran do not seek war, the regime demands it. We must work with partners who seek a peaceful and prosperous future for the Middle East, not capitulate to terrorists."
