Whirlpool Corp. Files Patent Infringement Lawsuit to Protect Industry-Leading Dishwasher Design

The company alleges Samsung illegally copied innovative 360° Max Jets Third Rack Dishwasher featuring the largest available third rack among leading brands based on usable volume

Whirlpool Corporation today filed a complaint in federal court requesting a preliminary and permanent injunction against Korea-based Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and the company's U.S. subsidiary Samsung Electronics of America, Inc. to stop Samsung's infringement of Whirlpool's patented third rack dishwasher design.
