First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Lukashevich meets Honorary Consul of Belarus in the Republic of Sudan
08 May 2026On 8 May 2026, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Lukashevich, met with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Sudan, Mohamed Ismail Mohamed.
The parties discussed the situation in the Republic of Sudan and the prospects for intensifying Belarusian-Sudanese cooperation as the situation normalises. The Honorary Consul outlined his plans to expand bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
Both sides confirmed their readiness to work towards implementing the agreements reached during the 5th meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Sudanese Commission for Cooperation, which was held on 7 May 2026 in Minsk.
