Eastbound lane on Elms Road to be closed starting Monday, Oct. 28
KILLEEN, Texas (Oct. 23, 2024) - The outside eastbound lane of Elms Road from Tom Lockett Drive to Vernice Loop will be closed to through traffic starting Monday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Nov. 1, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
The closure is so a contractor can perform public utility maintenance in this area.
Sidewalks may also be blocked in the area during the work.
The contractor will have a traffic control plan in place and detour traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
