Getting the information, threat right: Systematic analysis of media ecosystems can strengthen the EU’s fight against information manipulation

By examining audience reactions to EU communication, how the media tend to frame the EU in relation to its objectives and competing actors, and the susceptibility of public discourse to manipulation, the EU can better align its policy goals with on-the-ground realities.
Case studies from Georgia and Serbia illustrate how this approach can strengthen strategic communication and resilience in the face of emerging challenges.
