Utility Service Calls and Brush Pick-Up Inforamtion

DPW staff have started collecting the roadside brush and two contractors will begin work tomorrow (Friday) to assist.

Most of the details were included in the previous news release, however, the City would like to reiterate a few items:

We are picking up brush from street side trees as well as from private trees. Owners should stack in between the street and sidewalk with the cut ends facing out.

Public Works staff and contractors will not go onto private property to collect branches or other debris.

Please be aware that many branches are still hanging in the trees and can be easily dislodged by the wind. Please exercise caution if you are working in and around trees.

The following statements shall apply for the duration of storm cleanup efforts during the month of April ONLY:

The 72 hour max for leaving the brush out is hereby waived for this clean-up only.

The 6'x6'x6' pile maximum is hereby waived for this clean-up only.
